Friends Met in Alaska

I talked to an old friend that we met in Seward, Alaska during our trip in the summer of '05, and gave him the address of this blog. If he finds it, he should be surprised to find some pictures of his rig here! Actually, I was returning a call that he made and left us a message at Christmas. We met the Milne's in Seward, and ran into them again at Hyder and Prince Rupert, BC. Then, we met them at the FMCA convention in Pomona, CA in March 2006.

Here's a picture of our rigs parked next to each other on the waterfront in Seward...... our initial meeting as neighbors in a campgound. They will be able to spot their rig, but for the others, it is the big green Mountainaire parked next to our humble Airstream in the middle of the picture.




Here's a picture to remind them of the 'long' trip that I talked them into taking to see the Salmon Glacier!!

....... and the bears from the dumping ground that Nancy thought would tear through their convertible top.
