Charleston, SC – Wednesday

We started out with a plan to meet John, Kristine and Michael at Battery Park in downtown Charleston.  We arrived before they did, so we did a quick trip to the American Doll store to buy Aubrey a new doll.  Matthew and I dropped the girls off at the store, and since parking is rare, we drove around the market area until they were finished.  The doll was spotted taking a nap in the park later……..

We then went Battery Park, and found a good parking space, and walked the park.  We came upon an old home that offered tours, so once again, the girls left us to tour it, and Matthew and I walked back to the park area.  We heard from Michael that they were there, so we met up with them and walked back to the home that Patsy and them were touring.

We met up with them, and walked around looking at homes until we got too hot.

We decided to part company, and we headed to the beaches at the Isle of Palms beach.  On the way, we stopped again at Melvin’s BBQ for a quick lunch.

We spent a couple of hours at the beach.  I am pretty sure that the kids had a lot of fun………

Afterwards, we headed back to the campground and the pool there.  This was a more relaxing day……. so relaxing that I caught Patsy on her new computer…..
