Exploring Las Vegas - 2

On Monday, we decided to start in the morning with the three casinos the south end of the strip……. since they are connected by a tram.

We started in Mandalay Bay, and walked through the casino.  As far as having something interesting, other than the casino, it was lacking.  We found the tram stop, and headed to the Luxor.

The Luxor had more to look and and walk through. Here are some pictures, with the first one being the entrance to the casino from the tram and the latter just inside the doorway ………

The most interesting thing about the Luxor was the architecture….. seeing the rooms going up each side of the pyramid, with the squares getting smaller as it went up.

We then took moving walkway to the Excalibur.  Here is a picture that we got while driving the strip……..

All three of these casinos were about the same, but it gave us a good long walk.  When we finished, I (and my foot) were ready to go back to the Bus for a break!

In the afternoon, we decided to go to New York New York, and walk around in it.  It was a lot more enjoyable.  Here’s a picture of the Statue of Liberty on the outside……..

The shopping area was set up to look like the streets of Old New York City.  Here are some pictures…….
