Travel through Alabama & Bellingrath Gardens

On the way, we stopped to see the Bellingrath Gardens, which Patsy has been wanting to see for the last 10 years, but we were always in a hurry when we came through here.  Here are several pictures:

In addition to the gardens, we also toured the home, but photographs were not allowed.  While gardens are not exactly my “cup of tea”, it was a nice place to tour, and we enjoyed it.

We left about 1:00PM, and continued on to New Orleans.  On the way, we approached the I-10 tunnel under the river at Mobile, AL and we got to see the disabled cruise ship, the Carnival Triumph, that was still anchored at the port.

We got to New Orleans, and got set up in our campground about 4:00PM.

Next………. New Orleans!!!
