Puerto Penasco --Tuesday 'Going Home!' (Part 1)

This morning, we all put away chairs and grills, rolled up awnings, dumped our tanks, and loaded up to head back to the USA. We all agreed, it had been a great week in Puerto Penasco thanks to Mike and Linda who organized it, and Virgil Hoff who set up the fishing trip and the cruise.

Before we left, Patsy had to go to the beach one more time to pick up shells for Matthew and Aubrey.
We split up. The two fifth-wheels and one motorhome left at 9:00am and where headed to different places after they reached the border. One Motorhome decided to stay a little longer, and the remaining six motorhomes, including us, along the the small tag-along trailer left about 10:30am. The six motorhomes planned to spend Tuesday night at "Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument Park campground, and the tag-along was going to meet up with friends in Gila Bend for another adventure.

Our view to the front all the way back to the border!

...... and our view to either side!!

Then, we made it to the border crossing. We all got through without an inspection, except Virgil Hoff. When asked if he had any liquor, he replied proudly.... 'Hell, I've got a lot of it!!'. We found out that was the wrong answer. He was pulled over and inspected!!

While we waited, Bob and Linda were behind us. Apparently, Bob was tired out from driving that big ole diesel all the way to the border.... Once we all cleared customs, we lined up to get re-organized. In the last picture, Virgil is a happy 'camper' to still have all his liquor!!
