As we left the parking lot, I took a picture of the “elephant” water tank for Matthew:
We then went driving to get some pictures of the area. We attempted to get a good shot of the big tent area, and we wanted some more saguaro cactus shots. Here is what we got: Me and the cactus, a wayoff shot of the big tent area, and a close up of the vendor area near the big tent. There are a lot of people here1!!!!

As we drove past the vendor area, we also got a shot of Mike and Linda heading of to do some shopping:
We then returned to the camp area, and while I did some maintenance items, and put a lot of junk away, Patsy went next door and played Canasta.
For the evening, the plan was to fire up the campfire pit and make hot dogs. We did it and either I was real hungry, or it was the best hotdogs we've had in a while. Another nice surprise was that Linda and Bob of the "Because We Can" website showed up for our evening campfire, and we talked to them about going with us to Puerto Penasco. They thought it over, and have decided to accompany us. We should have a great caravan!! Here is a picture our some folks around the campfire.Bob is sitting to the far right, and Linda is sitting to the right of Patsy. Mike Desch and the 'original' Linda (with dog) are between them.
