While in Tucson, we toured Old Tucson, and went to a Trader Joe's Store to pickup some halibut fish filets and some frozen vegatable packages that we acquired a taste for when we were in California last year. We also purchased a new smoke detector for the MH at the Camping World store.
We are spending the night at the Flying J truck stop in Phoenix. We have purchased food and supplies for our week in the desert. Tomorrow, I will fill the fresh water tank, and dump the two waste tanks right before heading to Quartzsite. They have facilities there, but I suspect the lines will be long. We will also top off the gasoline and propane tanks. Here's a night-time picture of where we are parked:
Our plans are to go to La Mesa to see the Winnebago 38T in the morning, and head to Quartzsite about 1:00PM or 2:00PM.
Editorial Comment
I have recieved some good comments from friends and relatives about this blog that I started at the end of December. However, today, I got two complaints....... one from a cousin that did not read far enough back and wanted to know where the Mexico pictures were, and the other from my most wonderful (and only) daughter-in-law who had read our profile and wanted to know "how we could have two wonderful grandchildren without a wonderful daughter-in-law". I did not have the time to explain DNA to her, so I just edited the profile!!!!!
