Today was a slow day for us. We went to the paint shop at 6:00am, expecting to watch some painting activity. As it turned out, about 8:00am, we got to see some ‘masking’ activity. They painted a base coat on the motorhome yesterday, and then put a tape mask where they wanted the base coat to be the final color. They also used the making to paint the other colors. There was a masking kit for the front and the back, and four “rolls” of masking for each side. Here are a lot of pictures of them ‘masking’ the Bus:
When we were ready for paint, there was a waiting period, so Patsy and I drove over to the fabric shop and bought some motorhome fabric. When we got back, they started the painting:
It rained most of the afternoon, and when we got back to the campground, there was a 'double' rainbow in the sky. Here it is:
