Monday -- The Painting Begins

We lost track of our Bus for a little while. Yesterday, the security guard at the paint shop in Belmont could not find it on the list of arrivals. This morning, we called Belmont, and found out that it arrived there at 1:00pm on Friday!!!

We drove over to Belmont at about 8:30am, and found it two-thirds of the way through the sanding building. Here are some pictures (the first one shows other motorhomes waiting outside the sanding building waiting to get it, and the other two are our Bus being sanded):

Here our Bus is getting dusted and taped up prior to entering the painting booth, and in the third picture, I am making a final check!!!:

......... and coming out with the base coat on it!!

Now it is sitting outside the paint booth waiting to get taped for the stripes........

Tomorrow, more painting!!
