We got up early and in the cold for one last time. I wanted to get to the factory before they moved it, so I could get exterior pictures. We only had 3 stations left to do this morning, and they were mostly qualtiy checks and little fixes. The Bus was done and we were gone by 9:30am. Here are some exterior pictures with the slides out:

At this point, the Bus is turned over to a Spartan mechanic who test drives it, and check things like alignment and wheel balance. Later today, it will be driven to the paint shop in Belmont, MS.

When we left the factory, we drove over to Belmont, MS to find out about our 'ability and freedom' to watch the painting next week. We talked to the people in charge, and were told that we could come anytime and watch...... we just can't go into the paint booth during painting. That's OK, they have a window to watch through. These folks are really accomodating.
One of the things that I did all week was to take a picture of the entry steps......... mainly I think, it was because I was fantasizing about the Bus being finished. Here they are in order:
