Today, we began the day with good news from an email. One of the better dealers that we had contacted for a quote replied with a 27.5% discount....... and that was my target, but no one that I had talked to recently had gotten that good of a price. Instead of leaving this RV park as planned, we paid for another night, and got on the internet and confirmed the offer, and made some other contacts for information. We are gettting closer!!
It was almos 1:00pm when we finished, and we decided to do a part of the BRP east of Asheville. The area that we covered included The Folk Art Center, Craggy Gardens, Mount Mitchell State Park, and the Crabtree Meadows Campground. The following are pictures of this area...... we experimented with pictures out of the tunnels, and Patsy took one of me eating some 'hot' peach cobbler that we bought at a restaurant on top of Mount Mitchell, where it was in the 40's and I was wearing shorts:
Tomorrow, we are planning to continue our eastward trek on the BRP. We will hook up the car to the MH, and travel about 100 miles east.
