We walked around a lot of stores on Saturday afternoon and Monday morning. We left Monday afternoon to meet an Engineer with the Attwood Leveler Company in Jackson Center, OH to get our leveling system working correctly.
When we arrived on Saturday, we walked into a Christmas store, and found some lights that Patsy liked, and we found some to buy.
One of the really interesting stores that we walked into was Lehman’s Hardware in Kidron, OH. This is a very large hardware store, and has a lot of general merchandise plus Amish items that are manual and don’t use electricity. We found a puzzle in the store for our grandson, Matthew.
When we walked into Lehman’s, we immediately saw a display of an artist’s unique work. He started with a single large and about 8” thick block of wood, and carved out a 3D picture.
The first photo below was a hand-written sign discussing the work…..
Here are a few of the 3D pictures………..
On our drive from Pittsburgh to Berlin, we saw a strange sight rising in the horizon. As we got closer, it turned out to be a suspension bridge………
As we left the Berlin area, we saw Longaberger Basket Company’s Home Office in Newark,Ohio…..
