On our way out of Mexico, we took a few pictures:
Manuel and Connie clearing customs and entering the USA……
Mark and Sue talking to the customs agent……
…. and they made it!!!
After we returned to the USA, we spent three nights at the Holt’s Shell Campground in Gila Bend, AZ. It is a quiet place and very relaxing. Here are some pictures of our three rigs on the road to Gila Bend. They were taken by our friend, Lorraine North, who was following us with her husband, Chuck.
On the first night, after being in Mexico for a week, we were hungry for a good hamburger, so we whipped some up real fast and had a party….
The next morning, we decided to wash our rigs. We teamed up to get it done as fast as we could. Here is our rig being cleaned, with Mark and Sue on the roof, and Patsy working on the front!!
While we were in Quartzsite, we had a local shop make some jackets and caps with digitized pictures of our rigs embroidered on them. They took a while to make, and they were ready when we got back from Mexico. On Friday, 06Feb, we drove the CRV from Gila Bend to Quartzsite to pick them up. Here is a picture of mine:
To see more of the caps and jackets, go to the Esparza’s blog and see the Friday, Feb 6 entry. Yes, Connie keeps her blog more up to date than I have been doing!!!
